Welcome All.
Your mental health journey begins here. Let’s do this together.
About Me
Hi and welcome. My name is Lindsay Abrams and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.
I graduated from St. John Fisher College in 2020 with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling and have 7 years of experience working in the mental health field. My experience working in both outpatient and crisis settings has equipped me to assist clients from all walks of life.
I have a passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges in a supportive, safe and compassionate environment. I believe we all deserve a chance to be and feel better in all phases of life.
In my free time, I enjoy being with family and friends, watching a good show, and traveling.
I See Clients in Person and Virtually
I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating or clinical. My approach is driven by down to earth real support because healing happens best when you feel valued and understood as a human being.
My Approach
My therapy approach is person-centered, and authentic, creating a laid-back and supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions. I believe therapy should be tailored to each individual’s needs, ensuring that sessions are for the client’s benefit and personal growth. By fostering trust and open communication, I help clients navigate challenges in a way that feels comfortable, empowering, and meaningful to them.

Steps to Treatment
Step 1. Let’s Get to Know Each Other
Our first session will be an intake style where I get to know you better as a person, your mental health, health, and personal history, and what you’re looking to work on in therapy.
Step 2. Let’s Make a Plan
During our first and second session we will discuss an in-depth treatment plan, including goals for therapy, possible interventions, and needs. Every client’s treatment plan is tailored and unique to them.
Step 3. Let’s Get to it
Once we have completed step 1 and step 2 we will utilize your unique treatment plan in sessions to deeply discuss your areas of concern, process stressors, and work together through life’s challenges. Therapy is not a race; we can take as much time together to work through your treatment plan.
All Walks of Life are Welcome Here

In couples counseling, we will all work together to identify patterns, address challenges, and develop healthier ways of relating to one another.
